Meet the Lisa Horton Crafts team | Val Cartwright

Hi, Val here, I live in Plymouth with my husband Mike and my two Maine coon cats Poppy and Daisy.

I have always been crafty from an early age, my mum taught me to knit and crochet and I always love to make things, my sister got me into paper crafting over 20 years ago after going with her to a local craft shop and buying a card making kit.

I remember watching Lisa on create and craft when she used to demonstrate for other companies and was really excited when she launched her own brand especially her fabulous 3D embossing folders.

I was so excited when I was asked to be a guest DT after sharing my cards in the group and luckily for me I am still loving being part of the team after nearly 3 years.

My three favourite LH products, hmmm…. that’s a difficult one…. I think it has to be the staples that I use all the time which are blending / stencil brushes, the amazing glue and of course all of the fabulous inks.

I really love stencilling, when using such brilliant inks you can create great backgrounds and give such lovely dimension to your projects, you never get the same effect twice.

As we go into 2025 I am really looking forward to all the lovely new products Lisa is bringing to us, we have seen the sneaky peeks on her lives.
