Meet the Lisa Horton Crafts team | Rebecca Townsend

Hi! I'm Rebecca, I live near Newark with my cats, Gypsy and Piper. My partner Alasdair and I have been together for nearly 20 years. Until fairly recently, I worked as an IT business analyst.

When did you start crafting?

I started watercolouring 7-8 years ago and gradually got into cardmaking after making a load of bookmarks and tags.

How did you come across Lisa Horton Crafts for the first time?

I first came across Lisa Horton when she was designing for another company and I have quite a few stamps and dies from that time.

How long have you been part of the LHC team?

I joined the LHC design team as a guest In May 2024 at a time when I was missing working full time, so the opportunity just came along at the right time.

What are your three favourite products from LHC?

You really want me to choose?

Floral dies and nesting dies
Messy stuff (explosion powders, pastes, reinkers)
Inks (esp. metallic and interference)

And your favourite technique?

Turning something messy into something beautiful. I like to make papers and die cut them to make into florals and shapes.

What are you looking forward in 2025?

Improving my cardmaking skills, turning my office into a proper craft room with designated areas for stuff.
Making short cardmaking process videos - max 20 mins.
Writing/blogging about cardmaking
